Summary
The intent of the Technical Architect position is to connect the dots between the current technology portfolio and the customer environment while driving sales.

· Support sales team on proposal and solutions to customers.

· Meet customers to understand user requirements, perform customer education and create solutions.

· Prepare solution proposals.

· Generate / verify Bill of Materials for quotations.

· Assist sales in gathering 3rd party pricing and liaising with 3rd parties, if required.

· Customer facing presentations and clarifications.

· Support sales in tendering and bidding process.

Requirements

· Technical knowledge in Enterprise Servers, Storage Solution, Backup and Recovery Solution, UNIX, Windows, Networking, Hardware, mission Critical- High Availability Concepts.

· Ability to solution architect Storage and Server infrastructure solution.

· Excellent interpersonal, presentation and conversational skills; positive in learning

· Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Pre-sales architects may also be asked to attend training or perform self-study programs to pass manufacture or vendor specific certification exams that help organization meet requirements.

Major responsibilities: (Primary accountability for specific functions and results)

· Final responsibility for technical solution provided to clients.

· Responsible for providing quality internal support as required.

· Responsible for adhering to project methodologies when working assigned projects.

· Assisting with all pre-sales activities on assigned accounts.

· Responsible for admin responsibilities, including time and expense entry on weekly basis.

Additional Responsibilities:

Some travel may be required, up to 25% on annual basis.

Basic Specifications (to perform at a proficient level and to be fully qualified, a person would be expected to have)

· Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent

· At least 3 year(s) of working experience in Pre-Sales for system solution.

Related Experience:

· Microsoft Windows

· Active Directory

· DNS/WINS

· DHCP

· Exchange / SQL

· Training or actual experience with VMware Virtual Infrastructure

· Solid understanding of SAN Administration and/or installation (EMC, NetApp, IBM, HP, and/or EqaulLogic).

· Tier 1 x86 servers (IBM, HP, Dell).

· Basic Network Admin (switch, firewall, VLANs, VPNs).

· Enterprise Backup Software (BackupExec, Arcserver/Brightstor, NetVault, Networker, etc).

· Enterprise Backup Hardware (Quantum, DataDomain, EMC, etc) (Tape and/or Disk libraries).

Certifications Desired / Nice to have:

· MCSE 2003 and/or 2008

· Exchange 2007

· BladeCenter (IBM, HP and/or Dell)

· Terminal Services and/or Citrix

· MS SQL 2005 and/or 2008

· VMware VCP

Responsibilities

Ensure the stable operation of networks including routers, and switches.
Minimize service disruption and customer impact from routine network augmentation, preventative maintenance and enhancements.
Understand the key technical aspects of the broadband system.
Maintain the Cisco network environment and assist with the implementation of new solutions as needed.
Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and trends reports
This individual must have a strong working knowledge of Cisco products (26xx, 72xx VXR, 76xx, 12xxx routers).
Experience with routing protocols such as, OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP
LAN protocols and transports such as TCP/IP, Gig-Ethernet, Fast-Ethernet, and Wireless
Experience and support of WAN and MAN circuits such as MPLS, DS1, DS3, OC3
Knowledge of Cisco IOS and extensive knowledge of Point-to-Point concepts, entire suite for TCP/IP,OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS and BGP.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Engineering; or equivalent related degree or a combination of education and work experience.
3+ years experience in all phases of network engineering within the telecommunications service provider space.
In depth knowledge of telecom principals and terminology.
Experience in supporting mission-critical 24×7 telecom & network services.
Ability to communicate effectively, verbal and in writing, as well as good organizational and administrative skills.
Must be a team player, capable of functioning in a fast paced environment
Proficient computer skills.

· Work closely with pre-Sales Technical Architects to develop sales opportunities

· Understand the resources within Pinnacle and at suppliers that can be used to help close sales opportunities and know when and how to engage them

· Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales and gross profit goals

Additional Responsibilities:

Complete detailed account planning documentation for all major accounts as set by VP of Sales

Travel required in this position is:

Minimal, for external education and national sales meetings. Local travel will be required.

Education:

Undergraduate degree, preferably in computer science or marketing

Experience:

Experience in prospecting, managing complex sell cycles, customer relationship management, and selling technology-based solutions. Minimum of three years field sales experience in high-tech industry required.

Specialized knowledge

Sales experience in Storage, Servers, Virtualization and Networking, etc.

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for all aspects of Telecom design, installation and troubleshooting across the enterprise. This position is responsible for coordinating telephony system installations, provisioning and troubleshooting of telephony systems, providing telephony solutions to call centers, coordinate MAC activity and the ability to manage multi-task voice related telecom projects.

Ensures the delivery of exceptional customer service by insuring company telephony systems, telecom solutions, and Service Level Agreements are properly delivered or adhered to. Implementing policies, procedures, and training that will help all Concentra Colleagues insure proper use of company telephony assets. This individual will insure that these things are done while putting all customers (internal and external) first and displaying:

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Responsible for all aspects of telephony support

· Work with Avaya PBX’s and adjuncts (CMS, Audix) and vectoring

· Troubleshoot phone system issues

· Coordinate and manage several voice related telecom projects

· Identify and provide solutions for phone system’s operational and technical problems

· Coordinate telephony solutions impacting Avaya, Nortel and Cisco platforms

· Manage tickets assigned to the group by addressing issues and responding to customers

· Help resolve day to day issues

· Work closely with remote lead technicians during turn-ups and moves.

· Provision orders to telecom carriers for access and local services

· Work with other support teams on any move, add, change (MAC) activity

· Make sure that Service Level Agreements are adhered to by the carriers and constantly tracks and recommends new processes to rectify issues

Project management of Telecom initiatives is required.

EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:

Responsible for all aspects of security operations:

· Assist with Telecom Audits and analysis

· Order POTS lines and coordinates alarm and fax lines for medical centers

· Coordinates LD codes assignments and scheduling

· Assist with reviews and follows up with carriers regarding billing issues

· Assist with reviews of all telecom related bills/expenses and invoices

· Work closely with remote lead technicians during turn-ups and moves.

· Provision orders to telecom carriers for access and local services

· Reconciles and audits internal telecom bills for errors and disputes these errors with the carriers

· Make sure that Service Level Agreements are adhered to by the carriers and constantly tracks and recommends new processes to rectify issues

EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:
